Minesweeper Tournament

The competition is on! The Minesweeper Tournament is about to put your puzzle-solving skills and reflexes to the test in whole new ways! Participate in the tournament and win a unique medal.

How Does It Work?

For the duration of the tournament, you will receive points for every Minesweeper puzzle you play. Even if you lose, you are still awarded some points, albeit much less than if you win.

The tournament points you receive for each puzzle are calculated as follows:

PERCENTAGE_OF_COMPLETION = (number of marked or isolated bombs x 100) / number of cells without bombs

EFFICIENCY = 3BV divided by the total number of clicks performed. The fewer clicks performed, the higher the efficiency.

EFFICIENCY_BONUS = The bonus starts at 1.0 for the lowest efficiency scores and increases linearly to 1.5 for perfect efficiency (200% efficiency). This means that more efficient players receive a higher score multiplier, with a maximum bonus capped at 1.5. In the case of users with 100% efficiency, they will receive 25% extra.

TIME_BONUS = cubic bezier from 2.0 at 0 seconds up to 1.0 at maximum time or above

BONUS_VICTORY_POINTS = EFFICIENCY_BONUS x TIME_BONUS

TOURNAMENT_POINTS = BASE_POINTS x PERCENTAGE_OF_COMPLETION x BONUS_VICTORY_POINTS
